About BUX
BUX B.V. operates an investing app where customers buy fractional shares, ETFs and ETCs. Customers can set up automated Investment Plans from €10, and the company also offers model portfolios designed with J.P. Morgan on its top tier. A savings account developed with ABN AMRO is listed as coming soon.
Its customers are retail investors in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria and Ireland. Revenue comes from three account tiers (Basic, Plus and Prime) with monthly service fees, a variable service fee on assets, per-order commissions, FX markups on US stocks, interest on uninvested cash and a share of stock lending revenue.
BUX is headquartered in Amsterdam and is a subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank. It is licensed and supervised by the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM), and deposits are protected up to €100,000 under the DGS. The company is hiring in Amsterdam for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Event Streaming), a Senior DevSecOps Engineer and a Dutch-speaking Customer Support Representative.
