Brolis Defence Group

Brolis Defence Group develops electro-optical and laser systems for defence and security applications, including dismounted soldier systems, border surveillance solutions and OEM projects for airborne and naval use. Its product groups cover lasers, thermal (LWIR) systems, night vision, SWIR systems, OEM projects and countermeasures.

Customers are military and law enforcement organisations; the company supplies defence products to customers worldwide and states that its products are ITAR-free. Brolis Semiconductors UAB, a 100% subsidiary, operates the main R&D and manufacturing site in Vilnius, and the group also includes Brolis Photonics Solutions Ltd, a sales and marketing entity in Northern Ireland, UK.

The group is headquartered in Vilnius and was founded in 2019; the parent's subsidiary Brolis Semiconductors was established in 2011 as a spin-off. In March 2026 ETNA Equity Fund, a Copenhagen-based private equity fund, announced a majority stake acquisition. The company is currently implementing an EU-co-funded export promotion project running from November 2025 to February 2028.
