About Braillo Norway

Braillo Norway makes production braille embossers in seven models, from the 300 S2 at 300 characters per second to the 650 SF2 fully automated book production system. The range covers continuous, roll-fed and cut-sheet paper. Service, parts, technician support and training are also offered.

Customers are braille production facilities and organizations that produce braille books, magazines and other braille materials worldwide. Equipment is supported through factory service, local distributors and Braillo technicians who travel to customer sites.

The company is headquartered in Stjørdal, Norway, and its parts inventory is maintained at its factory in Norway. Braillo was founded in 1980 and introduced the Braillo 270, the first double-sided (interpoint) braille embosser, in January 1980, developed with the research institute SINTEF in Trondheim. American Thermoform Corporation acquired the company in 2016. Braillo also supports tactile graphics alongside its sister company Zychem Limited.
