The Bolyai János Mathematical Society (Bolyai János Matematikai Társulat) is a Hungarian association that promotes mathematics. It publishes the electronic journal Érintő – Elektronikus Matematikai Lapok, a newsletter, and the Váltószögek podcast, which it launched in April 2024.

It organises events for mathematics teachers, including the Varga Tamás Methodology Days and the Rátz László Vándorgyűlés conference, and awards the Rátz Tanár Úr Életműdíj and the Varga Tamás Díj. Together with HUN-REN Rényi Intézet and the MTA-Rényi-ELTE research group it runs a community that develops and tests teaching materials, with ready-made lesson plans for grades 9–12. It also supports the Hungarian team at the International Mathematical Olympiad and the Nemzeti Tehetség Program.

The society is described as a PRIMA PRIMISSIMA award winner and has a county branch in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg. Its activities include commemorations, such as the 200th anniversary of János Bolyai's "Temesvár letter", which UNESCO marked as a Bolyai commemorative year in 2023.
