About Blue Sky Fostering
Blue Sky Fostering is an independent fostering agency that recruits, trains and supports foster carers who look after children and young people. It offers fostering types including teenagers, siblings, therapeutically led fostering, parent and child, unaccompanied asylum seeking children and respite care.
Customers are foster carers and the young people in their care, placed through local authorities and the agency. The agency pays foster carers a fostering allowance per young person, which depends on the carer's experience and the placement type, and provides ongoing training and support.
Founded in 2005 by social worker Simon Lockyer, the company is headquartered in Harrow and has grown from an office in Hampshire. It provides localised support from Kent to Cornwall and up to the Cotswolds, and is actively recruiting foster carers across the South of England. The agency has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted at every inspection since 2008.
Product: Foster care placement and support services for children and young people, with training and allowances for foster carers.
