Blízko Vás

Blízko Vás s.r.o. is a registered social enterprise (r.s.p.) under Act No. 112/2018 Coll., based in Bratislava. It employs people from disadvantaged groups in operating businesses across eight areas: small grocery stores in city districts, a sourdough bakery, household and office moving, corporate and cultural events, summer and winter property maintenance, paid training for entrepreneurs and managers, and free financial literacy sessions for young people in Bratislava schools.

Customers include households and offices using moving services, companies ordering events or training, franchise partners for maintenance, and the City of Bratislava and its districts for cultural events. Revenue from commercial activities funds the free youth education through cross-subsidy. The company states that 100% of its profit is reinvested into its social mission.

The company was founded in 2025 and has its seat in Bratislava. It reports that 50% of its employees come from disadvantagedgroups, above the 30% legal minimum, and that each such employee follows a 12-month adaptation programme with a mentor and an individual development plan. It works with more than eight partner organisations for recruitment, including DePaul Slovensko and Raná starostlivosť, n.o. Its stated plan is 5 disadvantaged employees out of 10 in 2026, 10 out of 20 in 2027 and 15 out of 30 in 2028.
