Blackpool Airport Operations Ltd (BAOL) runs Blackpool Airport on the Fylde Coast in north west England. The airport has operated since 1909. The company was founded in 2008 and is registered in the United Kingdom with its headquarters in Blackpool. Planning applications have been submitted for an "Airport East" development with general aviation and maintenance, repair and overhaul hangars, new air traffic control and fire service facilities, and a fuel farm.
