About Birdsview

Birdsview makes Birdsview Concrete, a handheld 3D concrete scanner that combines ground penetrating radar, lidar and a 3D tracker. Its Ostrich platform analyses the scan data automatically and delivers the position, diameter, cover and spacing of rebar as a full 3D model, which can be shared with project teams in the field and in the office.

Customers include asset owners, consultants and contractors working on bridges, buildings, power stations, parking garages, ports, airports, tunnels and industrial facilities. The company sells the scanner and platform and also runs surveys for these customers. Pricing is by quote, and prospects can request a demo.

Birdsview was founded in 2017 and is based in Bergen, with an office in Oslo. The team has 15 members. The company raised NOK 40.5 million in 2026 and reports 100+ projects in nine countries.
