About Bioticnrg
BioticNRG operates anaerobic digestion (AD) plants and licensed compost sites in the UK. Its AD plants process waste, residues and rotational crops to produce gas, electricity, heat, CO2 and PAS110 certified digestate. Its compost sites produce compost to BS PAS:100 and the Compost Quality Protocol Specification. The company also offers poultry cleaning, litter disposal and haulage services through its Lincolnshire operation, and produces landscaping and ornamental barks.
Customers include the National Grid, which receives gas from gas-to-grid sites, and local businesses that buy green electricity from CHP sites. Digestate, food-grade and kosher certified CO2, and compost are also sold. The company accepts food waste from producers for offtake, and provides full site management services for four additional AD plants.
BioticNRG was formed in August 2022. Its portfolio includes nine AD sites in the UK that it owns and five compost sites in the Midlands and East of England. Recent acquisitions include the Langage AD plant near Plymouth and the Evercreech AD plant in Somerset. Its first investment outside the UK is Lemvig Biogas in Denmark. The company's investments are managed by Palisade Real Assets (UK) Limited, and its funder is APG Asset Management. It is headquartered in Wellingborough and opened a new headquarters in Stowmarket, Suffolk. It is hiring AD plant operators for sites across East Anglia, the Midlands and the South West.
