Berlin Art Week is an annual festival of contemporary art in Berlin, held each September to open the autumn art season. Its programme covers exhibitions, performances, film screenings, talks, guided tours and a Positions Berlin Art Fair held at Tempelhof airport, with a Gallery Night and Featured Night among the events.
The festival brings together more than 100 museums, collections, galleries, project spaces and an art fair, and is aimed at Berlin residents and international visitors. It is a project of Kulturprojekte Berlin and is funded by the Berlin Senate administrations for economy and culture together with European Regional Development Fund resources, with support from Berliner Volksbank eG.
The festival has taken place in editions since 2012, and its 2026 edition marks the 15th anniversary. The 2027 edition is scheduled for 8–12 September 2027. The company currently advertises two internship positions, in communications and press and in communications and social media management.
