About Believ

Believ operates publicly accessible electric vehicle charging networks throughout the UK, with rapid and ultra-rapid charge points. Drivers can find charge points on the Believ map and use the Believ app or a driver portal. The company states that its network is powered by 100% renewable energy.

Drivers pay per kWh at the charger, either pay as you go or through a membership at £5 per month that gives reduced prices. Believ also works with local authorities to deliver privately funded charging networks, with businesses to install charging on commercial premises, and with landowners to develop charging hubs on freehold and leasehold sites.

The company is headquartered in London and was founded in 2019. Its shareholders are Liberty Global and Zouk Capital, and Zouk's investment is supported by the UK Government's Charging Infrastructure Investment Fund. Announced projects include a £38 million rollout with Hertfordshire County Council, £90 million of private investment for Hampshire County Council, and over 200 new charge points in Telford & Wrekin.

Product: Publicly accessible EV charge points with a driver app, pay-as-you-go charging and a membership plan.
