About Barnehagesentralen

Barnehagesentralen is a Norwegian staffing agency that supplies substitute staff to kindergartens (barnehager). It places pedagogical staff, kindergarten teachers (barnehagelærer) and pedagogical leaders on assignments ranging from a single day to longer periods.

The company describes a tailored process: an initial conversation, mapping of the kindergarten's needs, matching from its internal candidate base, arranging the first working day, and regular follow-up with both the kindergarten and the substitute. It also recruits substitutes through a sign-up for candidates.

The company was registered in 2024 and is headquartered in Oslo. Its stated service areas are Oslo, Akershus, Østfold, Buskerud, Vestfold, Agder, Stavanger, Sandnes and Bergen.
