banaanieyewear.fi

Banaani Eyewear is a Finnish online shop selling prescription glasses, multifocal lenses and sunglasses under its own brand. Lenses are offered with coatings, thinning, high-index options, anti-astigmatism correction and prisms included in the listed price. Customers provide their prescription and pupillary distance, and can search frames with a 60-second frame search or try them on virtually.

The shop sells to consumers who buy glasses online and states that it works without optician chains, brand markups or intermediaries, linking buyers directly to the factory. Multifocal glasses are listed from 149 €, and Klarna payment is offered. Customer questions are answered in a chat by staff who respond to each message personally. The website offers a 100-day return and exchange period.

The site states more than 33,000 satisfied customers and over 4,000 reviews with an average of 4.75 out of 5. The company describes its lenses as a CE-marked medical device designed in Helsinki. Press coverage in 2026 includes a Helsingin Sanomat journalist's purchase and a test by Sunnuntaisuomalainen with the Photonics Research Center of the University of Eastern Finland.

Product: Prescription multifocal glasses, single-vision glasses, sunglasses and sunglasses with prescription, sold online with virtual frame fitting.
