About Bake away
Bake Away is a handmade confectionery workshop that makes custom cakes and desserts, including profiteroles, mousse, Paris-Brest, choux with craquelin and mini pavlovas. Cakes are designed to each customer's request. The workshop runs two separate production rooms: one for traditional products and one for gluten-free, lactose-free, sugar-free and vegan desserts, prepared with dedicated tools.
Customers are individuals ordering cakes and desserts for weddings, birthdays, christenings, family celebrations, corporate events and bachelorette parties. Orders are recommended at least 1.5 to 2 weeks in advance, and cakes must be collected in person; the company does not deliver cakes.
The workshop was founded in June 2024 and is based in Komárno, Slovakia. It is run by its owner, Monika Édes, and works with plant-based butter, cow's butter, Callebaut and Valrhona chocolate, and fresh fruit coulis.
