About backstagepro.de
Backstage PRO is a German online platform for the music scene. It combines an editorial news section on music-industry topics, a booking community where venues and organisers post gig listings and bands and solo artists create profiles, and a classifieds marketplace for instruments, lessons, rehearsal rooms and job offers. It also offers matchmaking by region, instrument, skill and ambition.
Its users include musicians, bands, solo acts, venues, promoters, bookers, labels and music companies. The site describes partner activities such as contests, festival slots and brand ambassador campaigns, and lists partners including Musikhaus Thomann. The operating company is Leitmotiv Online Medien GmbH & Co. KG, based in Mannheim, Germany, and the site states it has existed since 2010.
The company is currently recruiting freelance authors on a fee basis for its editorial team.
