About Backresto
BackResto makes a HACCP food-safety app that brings temperature records, cleaning plans, food traceability, delivery checks and shelf-life labels into one tool. The app is available on iOS, Android and the web, in seven languages. Connected sensors monitor cold rooms and send alerts, and a label printer prints shelf-life labels from the app.
The product is aimed at food businesses including restaurants, bakeries, butcher shops, caterers, collective catering and hotels. It is sold as monthly subscriptions priced at €19.90 excl. VAT per month, or €14.90 per month with a one-year commitment, with unlimited users. Sensors and a label printer are sold as optional add-ons, and an organisation plan is quoted on request.
BackResto was founded in 2022 and is a French SAS headquartered in Paris. Its founder, Thomas Ducreux, is an engineer and co-founder of the Galette crêperie in Paris. The company reports more than 2,000 professional users and more than 50,000 records created per month.
