About Awake.Ai
Awake.AI develops AI-based software for maritime logistics. Its PORT VISION product covers port call planning and optimisation, including just-in-time port call scheduling, resource scheduling, geofenced maps, weather warnings and infrastructure management. The company also offers analytics and machine learning microservices for maritime operations and a CO₂ Emission Monitor for multi-level reporting in intermodal and multimodal freight transport.
The company works with port authorities, port operators, cargo owners and other members of the maritime logistics chain. A Port of Gothenburg representative is quoted on the newly launched Berth Planner. Its stated mission is a 10% reduction of global shipping CO₂ emissions by 2030 with ecosystem partners, and a 20% reduction in port call turnaround times and shipping emissions through just-in-time port call optimisation.
Awake.AI was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Turku, Finland. Its analytics are configured for over 3,000 ports and it performs over 1.5 million voyage predictions per day.
