WISE Group designs, delivers and supports integrated offshore monitoring systems covering weather and ocean, helideck and aviation, position and mooring, structure and motion, environmental and wildlife, and visual monitoring. The company develops its own software, including DADAS, RUPDB and AIM embedded software, and integrates it with sensors and specialist systems from manufacturers.

Customers include operators of offshore oil and gas platforms, offshore wind projects, marine and vessel operations, and LNG and terminal facilities. Work is scoped per project and covers delivery, installation and support, with planned service visits, calibration and spare parts offered for systems already in operation.

WISE Group was founded in 1991 in Bømlo, Norway, and is now headquartered in Stavanger; its MetOcean roots date to 1980. It also has offices in Kristiansand and Marseille, and its UK operations include WISE Group – Muir Matheson and WISE Group – RUP Ltd in Westhill, Aberdeenshire.
