About Aubois

Aubois designs and manufactures bio-based prefabricated construction components, including hemp concrete elements, timber structures and straw-based solutions, with timber framing (charpente) workshops. Its off-site construction is based at its plant in Montieramey, in the Aube department of France.

Customers are construction projects in the Aube, Île-de-France and neighbouring departments. The company states that its straw is sourced from within 50 km of the plant and that its hemp comes from the La Chanvrière cooperative.

Aubois was founded in 2019 and is associated with Didier Glais, Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2011 in charpente-couverture. The production and storage site covers 20,000 m² and has more than ten industrial machines. The company reports a planned 160% growth between 2025 and 2029 and is located about 1 h 30 by train from Paris.

Product: Prefabricated hemp concrete components, timber structures and straw-based biobased building solutions.
