About ATEME

Ateme develops video compression, transcoding, delivery and streaming software, sold as products and as the cloud services Ateme+ Live and Ateme+ File. Its portfolio also covers advertising and monetization, analytics, workflow orchestration and AI-powered sports streaming.

Customers are tier-one content providers, broadcasters, service providers and streaming platforms. The company states that it served over a thousand customers worldwide in 2023 and earned €100 million in revenues that year, more than 90% of it outside France. It describes a shift toward recurring revenues through flexible engagement models.

Ateme was founded in 1991 and is headquartered in Vélizy-Villacoublay, France. Its shares have been listed on Euronext Paris since 2014, and in November 2020 it acquired Anevia, an OTT and IPTV software provider. The company reports 580 employees across its headquarters and 20 offices worldwide, including the USA, Brazil, Argentina, the UK, Spain, Germany, the UAE, Singapore, China, Korea and Australia. Its 26 open positions are mainly R&D roles, including engineering internships, along with customer engineering and solutions engineering roles.
