About Asahi Glassplant UK
AGI Glassplant designs and manufactures engineered glass systems for chemical processing, including reaction, filtration, concentration, evaporation, distillation and quartz systems, along with a pilot reactor controller. Products span laboratory, pilot plant and manufacturing scale, and custom solutions are offered.
Customers are chemists and chemical engineers in academia, pharmaceutical, chemical, food, flavour and fragrance, and petrochemical industries. Products are sold directly and through more than 40 distributors worldwide.
The company was founded in 1950 and is based in Japan, where it is part of the AGI Group. It has subsidiary offices in the USA, Japan, India and EMEA, and manufacturing sites in the USA, UK, Switzerland and India. Current openings include R&D and customer support roles in Royston, England.
