About ARRIVA Slovakia

ARRIVA Slovakia a.s. is the Slovak management company of the ARRIVA bus group, headquartered in Nitra. The group's Slovak operations run regional, contract and commercial bus transport in 5 regions and urban transport in 15 cities, with more than 1,350 buses and more than 2,500 employees according to the company's website. Subsidiary transport companies, a service company, a driving school and a central services company make up the Slovak group.

Passengers use the regional and urban bus lines, and contracted transport is provided to public clients. Other services include bus repair and servicing (the service company works on SOR, Solaris and IVECO vehicles), rental of advertising space on vehicles and stops, and a driving school. Bike sharing systems are operated in Nitra, Žilina and Senec, and a system was supplied on a turnkey basis to Senica.

The company has operated in Slovakia since 2008, and its registered founding date is 2001. Its parent group is headquartered in Sunderland, United Kingdom. Offices and operating companies are located in Nitra, Bratislava, Michalovce, Nové Zámky and Trnava. Current hiring covers bus drivers with and without category D licences, service technicians, administration staff and a graduate programme in general or engineering management.
