About ArcDia International

ArcDia International Oy develops and manufactures the mariPOC system of antigen-based rapid tests for acute infections. The test plates detect several pathogens from a single clinical sample at once, covering respiratory infections such as COVID-19, influenza, RSV and strep A, and gastrointestinal infections including C. difficile. The company also offers mariCloud, an online service for real-time epidemiological surveillance, and is developing mariAST, a research-use-only solution for antimicrobial susceptibility testing.

Customers include hospitals, health centres, private clinics, emergency departments, pharmacies and minute clinics, as well as workplaces and transport hubs. ArcDia sells its test products and distributes them to numerous countries through distributors.

The company was founded in 2005 and has its headquarters in Turku, Finland, where its products are made under the ISO 13485 quality management system. Its diagnostic technology, TPX, originates from research at the University of Turku.

Product: mariPOC rapid antigen test plates for multi-pathogen respiratory and gastrointestinal infection testing, plus the mariCloud surveillance service.
