About Applied Meters

Applied Meters, a.s. develops and makes static single-phase and three-phase electricity meters, along with automated data collection and test equipment for energy metering. Its meter series, including the AMS and AMT lines, measure active, reactive and apparent energy in tariff registers and show readings on an LCD. Meters are parameterised and read with an optical probe and software supplied by the manufacturer.

The company's products are electricity meters and related metering equipment.

The company was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Prešov, Slovakia. It passed a certification audit for ISO/IEC 27001:2022 in October 2025, and it completed an EU-funded training of nine employees totalling 170 hours on DLMS/COSEM smart metering communication. It also offers dual vocational education to secondary school students from Prešov in electrotechnical and IT fields.
