Apix Analytics

Apix Analytics builds miniaturized gas chromatographs that analyse gas composition at the sampling point, in process, in laboratories or in the field. The product lines are ChromPix (rack and tabletop), ChromEx (hazardous areas) and FieldPix (mobile). Systems are built from modules that combine an injector, columns and micro TCD and NGD detectors.

Customers include distributors, integrators and EPC firms, oil and gas companies, gas DSOs and TSOs, GC end users, and instrumentation manufacturers that integrate its modules through an OEM approach. Instruments are distributed globally through a network of integrators and distributors. Applications cover natural gas, biomethane, hydrogen and sulfur or pollutant analysis.

The company was founded in 2014 from a collaboration between CEA-LETI and Caltech and is headquartered in Grenoble, France. Instruments are assembled and tested at its facility in Garlin, in southwest France. The company states that more than 1,000 GC units are deployed in the field and that its products are used in 15 countries.
