About Antofenol
Antofénol makes plant extracts and natural solutions using microwave eco-extraction, a process that works without chemical solvents. Its products include Antoferine, a natural antifungal biocontrol solution made from vine wood, and WaveXtracts, eco-designed cosmetic actives.
Customers are agricultural, cosmetic and food and nutraceutical companies. Antofénol sells ready-made solutions and custom extraction projects, which cover sourcing, laboratory-scale tests, biochemical characterisation, biological activity tests, scale-up and industrial production. The company holds ISO 9001 certification and organic and Cosmos certificates.
Antofénol was founded in 2014, when its first site was set up in Montpellier. Its registered headquarters is in Vedene. It also operates a site in Plestan (Brittany) with an R&D laboratory and a pilot factory, and a third research and production centre in Le Thor (Vaucluse), where a factory of over 6,000 m² was planned, with its foundation stone laid in 2024. The company is led by its founder and CEO, Fanny Rolet.
