Amprius Technologies develops and manufactures silicon anode lithium-ion battery cells. The website says the cells target high energy density and fast charging, with a stated maximum of up to 450 Wh/kg, ultra-fast charging from 0% to 80% in as little as six minutes, and 1,300 full charge cycles.

The company presents its batteries for unmanned and manned aviation, robotics and AI, light electric vehicles, electric vehicles and other mobility uses. Its website names customer endorsements from aerospace and drone companies and a recent purchase order of $35 million from a UAS manufacturer; it does not describe the revenue model beyond selling battery cells and contract manufacturing partnerships.

The website states the company was founded in 2008, completed an IPO and began trading on the NYSE in 2022, and operates an MWh-scale manufacturing site in Fremont, California, with GWh-scale contract manufacturing partnerships in China.
