About Americamp
AmeriCamp places people in paid summer camp counsellor roles at camps in the USA. Roles include coaching a sport or hobby or working as a general camp counsellor for 9-12 weeks over the summer. Accommodation, meals and medical insurance are included, and the company guarantees a salary of at least $2,400 USD for the camp period.
Applicants apply through an online hiring portal and pay programme fees only once they are accepted onto the programme. The company's customers are therefore the applicants, and it earns its revenue from those fees. The site also lists post-camp travel of up to 30 days and promotes other work and travel programmes from Intrax.
The company is a UK limited company founded in 2010, with its registered headquarters in London. It also presents an office in Manchester, where it lists open roles in sales and applications. The company states that it works with hundreds of camps in the USA.
Product: Summer camp counsellor placement programme in the USA, including accommodation, meals, medical insurance and post-camp travel coverage.
