About Allstad
Allstad is a Norwegian property company that manages and develops properties and forest land. It produces renewable energy from solar and hydropower and offers hunting and fishing to the public.
Its services include the sale of ground leases (festetomt), transfer of leasehold rights when buildings on leased land are bought, sold or inherited, land leasing, and neighbour notices and declarations for building projects. The company is owned by the Norwegian state, and all its dividends go to Kirkebevaringsfondet.
Allstad was founded in 2024 and is headquartered in Oslo. It describes itself as one of Norway's largest landowners and owns land across the country. In August 2026 it officially opened Oslo Hospital, a historic property, as a workplace and meeting place for tenants and the local community.
