About Alight
Alight develops, owns and operates onsite and offsite solar projects and sells the electricity to businesses under power purchase agreements (PPAs). Offerings include offsite solar, onsite solar and private wire PPAs, and the company also positions itself around solar and storage.
Its customers are energy-intensive businesses and corporations that buy solar power at a low, fixed cost. Named customers and partners on the website include Toyota Material Handling, Swedbank, and Sveaskog, with which Alight has a strategic partnership to develop 2GW of solar power production over five years.
Alight was founded in 2013 as Eneo Solutions. It entered Finland in 2023 with a 100 MW solar park in Eurajoki. DIF Capital invested €150 million in 2022. The company reports 72 energy assets under management or construction, 539 MW of solar capacity under management or construction, a 5300 MW pipeline of projects in Europe, and more than 95 team members across Europe. It aims for at least 5 GW of installed capacity by 2030. Open roles include a Senior Financial Accountant and a Head of Cyber for Finland and Sweden.
