About AirHelp
AirHelp checks whether air passengers are owed compensation for delayed, canceled or denied-boarding flights and pursues claims against airlines, including in court when necessary. It also offers a free app with live flight tracking, disruption alerts and claim filing, and an AirHelp+ membership for pre-flight protection.
Individual passengers are the main customers. AirHelp charges a 35% service fee including VAT, deducted only from compensation it secures, plus a 15% legal-action fee in rare cases, according to its pricing page. The website also says it works with more than 140 travel brands, including OTAs, airlines and insurers, to offer protection and compensation products.
The website states the company was founded in 2013; its structured data names Copenhagen as the founding location, Henrik Zillmer as founder, and Berlin as the postal address. Current open roles listed include product, engineering and a Chief of Staff position, with locations in Kraków, Warsaw, Gdańsk and Barcelona.
