About Aichinger Gastro
Aichinger Gastro GmbH operates six food and beverage concepts in Terminal 2 of Munich Airport, including the Seafood meets Asia and Selmans restaurants, the Boconero Café & Restaurant, the Bluebird café and bar, and the Cloud7 event location. It also sells Boconero Caffè, its own coffee brand with an online shop, and offers consulting for restaurants on concept development, menu design, recipes, operational analysis and quality management.
Its customers are airport passengers, including business travellers, families and holidaymakers. Revenue comes from operating its outlets, catering and event management, and consulting services for the hospitality industry.
The company has been present at Munich Airport since 2003, when Terminal 2 opened with its first concept. It is family-run, reports more than 100 employees and about 1,400 square metres of outlets, and states that it served over one million passengers airside in 2024. Its open positions at Munich Airport include cooks, cashiers, service staff and runners.
Product: Airport restaurants, cafés, bars and event location, plus Boconero Caffè coffee and gastronomy consulting
