About Agency Louen
Louen is an urban research and vibrancy strategy practice based in Helsinki. It diagnoses which operators and place conditions make an area vibrant, and turns that analysis into strategy and concept decisions. Services include place diagnostics based on field research and operator interviews, strategy and concept work, short diagnostic reviews of places that are not performing, and half-day talks and workshops.
Clients include cities and city-owned development companies, real estate developers, property owners, architecture and construction firms, and consultancies working on urban development. Work is delivered as project engagements, from a single workshop to a full sequence running from diagnosis to strategy to concept. The founder leads each engagement personally and brings in urban researchers, economists and cultural programmers as needed.
The company was founded in 2022 and is registered in Helsinki, where it is headquartered. Its website is published in English and includes an insights section with articles on urban research.
Product: Place diagnostics, vibrancy strategy and concept development for urban projects, plus talks and workshops on urban vibrancy.
