About AG Skořenice, akciová společnost

AG Skořenice is an agricultural company farming in the Pardubice region, Ústí nad Orlicí district, with a focus on dairy cattle breeding. It grows feed for its dairy cows and some market crops on about 1,250 ha of farmland. The company keeps around 500 dairy cows at its livestock centre in Újezd u Chocně.

Milk and crop production are combined with a biogas plant in Újezd u Chocně, which turns cow manure and other biomass into electricity and heat, with surplus electricity sold to the grid. The company also operates a self-service fuel station in Běstovice that is open to the public, and a sand pit.

The company was founded in 1994 and is headquartered in Běstovice. It is currently hiring for a cattle caretaker (stájník) role, which involves cleaning stables with a skid-steer loader and moving animals between barns.

Product: Milk from dairy cattle, feed and market crops, electricity from a biogas plant, and fuel sales at a self-service station.
