About AFS Group
AFS Group is a European financial and environmental intermediary offering advisory, broking, execution and custody services. Its divisions cover Interest (money and fixed income broking), Execution and Custody Services, Energy, and Platform Solutions. Platform Solutions runs the Vennex service, which provides digital shareholder registers and secondary trading for private companies, funds and foundations, and the Viridian exchange for environmental certificates (EUAs, with Guarantees of Origin planned from April 2026).
Its clients include more than 3,000 active counterparties: asset managers, private and other banks, corporates, family offices, hedge funds, pension funds, insurers, municipalities, utilities and ministries of finance. The Interest department serves over 2,500 professional and eligible clients.
AFS was founded in 2000 through the merger of predecessor firms with histories dating back more than 175 years. Its headquarters are in Amsterdam, with an office in New York, and it has over 180 employees. The group is employee-owned and is regulated by the AFM, DNB, BaFin and FINMA.
