About Advanced Actuators
Advanced Actuators designs, builds and supplies hydraulic, electro-hydraulic, pneumatic and electric valve actuators. Customers are operators, EPC contractors and OEMs in oil and gas, power generation including nuclear, water and wastewater, bulk materials and mining, and process and chemical industries. The company sells actuators, power units, controls and after-sales services, and supports clients through authorised partners and distributors.
The company was founded in 1999 and states that it has designed actuators since 1969. Its head office and factory are in Silsden, West Yorkshire, with a regional office in Kuala Lumpur. It is part of the Advanced Engineering Group, alongside Advanced Components, Advanced Drives and Advanced Automation. Current vacancies are for mechanical fitters with hydraulic experience and an internal sales engineer, both in Silsden.
