ADP CZ

ADP CZ, a.s. develops and makes a building heating control system, marketed as "Kobra" (Inteligentní dům), combining its own controller hardware and software. The system regulates conventional heat sources such as boilers, as well as alternative sources like heat pumps and solar panels. The company also offers programming, analytical and administration capacity for IT projects, web applications and internet connections.

The company sells to owners and users of apartments, family houses, hotels and administrative buildings. Its website says it coordinates designers, technology suppliers and installation firms in an integration activity that ends with its own technology. The website does not describe pricing or revenue model in detail.

ADP CZ was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Prague. It states that it was formed as a subsidiary of three IT companies and draws on the tradition of Pragosoft. The company reports a long-term development partnership with Condata s.r.o. for the controller hardware and software, and cooperates with the Department of Building Services at the Czech Technical University's Faculty of Civil Engineering. Know-how of the solution is protected by a Czech industrial property patent application number.
