About Abstract

Abstract, a group of companies based in Stuttgart, builds 3D technology. Its platform covers polygon reduction, LOD generation and CAD-to-3D conversion (InstaLOD), node-based material authoring (InstaMAT), real-time 3D collaboration (RSX Engine) and cloud asset management and delivery (Polyverse). InstaLOD was the company's first product.

Customers are game studios and enterprise teams that produce 3D content. Case studies cover Accenture Song, MHP, Wargaming, NCSOFT, Striking Distance Studios and Wurzel Digital. Offerings include REST APIs and hosted AI models, and free pioneer licenses are available to studios with revenue under $100K.

The website cites more than 10 years of work on 3D and AI infrastructure and states that Abstract is SOC 2 certified. The CEO is Manfred M. Nerurkar. Seven roles are open, mainly remote contractor positions in C++, Qt, 3D, and full stack web development, plus business development and product evangelist roles, all listed with a Stuttgart location.

Product: InstaLOD (polygon reduction, LOD and CAD import), InstaMAT (node-based material authoring), RSX Engine (real-time 3D collaboration) and Polyverse (cloud asset management and delivery).
