About Abakus Center

Abakus Europe, also marketed as Abakus Center, runs an online school that teaches children mental arithmetic, logic and problem-solving. Lessons take place one-on-one with a teacher on the company's platform via computer, last 25 or 55 minutes depending on age, and are held 1-2 times per week. The method is described as neuro-pedagogy based, with gamified formats and proprietary materials.

Customers are parents enrolling children in lessons; the school offers a free trial lesson. Partner educational centers operate as branches and representative offices of the Abakus Center, and the website describes a franchise model. Students have taken part in mental arithmetic competitions.

The website states 216 locations and students in 69 countries, and more than 500 teachers. The company describes more than 10 years of work in education and cooperation with partner centers since 2015. Courses are offered in Bratislava. Co-founder Rustam Bagautdinov and Mgr. Miloš Vincík, PhD, are named on the team page. Open roles include remote teachers for mental arithmetic in several languages and sales, partnership and growth positions.

Product: Online one-on-one mental arithmetic and math lessons for children, 25 or 55 minutes, 1-2 times per week.
