About 3AWater
3AWater develops and sells the Multimetal Water Analysis System (MWAS), a portable, battery-operated device that measures eleven dissolved metals in industrial and environmental waters on site. Results are reported in under 15 minutes, and the system is compatible with Hitachi X-MET8000 and Evident Vanta XRF analysers. Consumables include a metal collector and syringe filter set for each measurement.
The company serves industrial operators, including metal producers, mining and environmental water managers. Its offering covers accessory kits, stationary laboratory setups and after-sales services, and it offers a free trial in which customer water samples are tested with a performance report.
3AWater was established in January 2019 in Kuopio, Finland, by analytical science experts from the University of Eastern Finland; the company's registered founding date is 2019-01-29. The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and states that its MWAS is patented.
