The Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera) stages opera, ballet and concert productions at its house on the Opernring in Vienna. The Wiener Staatsballett, a dance ensemble of more than 100 dancers, is based at the State Opera and at the Volksoper Wien. The website lists current performances, premieres and the 2026/27 season repertoire.

Audiences buy tickets for performances through the website and can subscribe to a newsletter. The institution also offers production sponsorship for its large stage productions, with a dedicated sponsorship department.

The careers page lists eight open positions, including orchestra, chorus, stage technology, make-up and a costume project lead for NEST.
