Westbay Solutions

Westbay Solutions designs and builds military vehicle trailers, customized vehicles and load carriers, which it describes as MOTS (military or modified off-the-shelf) products based on modular platforms. Products include trailers up to 3500 kg, command and depot vehicles for military, police and rescue services, and insulated or climate-controlled load carriers built on sandwich boxes or ISO containers.

The largest business area is international sales to defense and government organizations, and the first order from the Swedish armed forces came in 2007. A second business area serves B2B and professional customers in Sweden with the same product categories. The company states that its trailer chassis factory has a capacity of more than 25,000 trailers per year and that its production and assembly plant is 3500 sqm on a 30,000 sqm plot.

Westbay was formed in 2006 in Västervik, Sweden, where it is based. Current open positions are all in Västervik and cover production, design engineering, B2B sales, defense project management and accounting.
