The website names Airbnb, Spotify, FedEx, Visa and Dr. Martens among customers and states that it is sold on an enterprise platform basis; pricing details are not published.

Watershed was founded in 2019 and is headquartered in San Francisco, with offices in New York, London, Paris, Berlin, Sydney and Mexico City. The website says the company has nearly 400 employees and reports a Series C investment round in February 2024.
