About Vitesse
Vitesse provides financial infrastructure for the insurance industry. Its platform holds and safeguards premium and claim funds, provides real-time visibility and control over those funds, and makes same-day or instant payments to claimants and suppliers across borders.
Its clients are insurers and carriers, along with MGAs, TPAs, brokers and other insurance participants, including the Lloyd's marketplace. The website states that more than 550 insurers, MGAs, TPAs and brokers are connected to the platform, and that Vitesse is not a bank; client funds are held with banking partners. The company was founded in 2014 in London by Phil McGriskin and Paul Townsend and initially focused on cross-border B2B payments before moving into insurance in 2021.
The website lists offices in London, New York and Rotterdam, and regulated entities in the UK (FCA), the US (NYDFS) and the EU (DNB). Vitesse announced a $93 million Series C round led by KKR in 2024 to support US expansion. The three open roles listed are in London: Senior People Partner, Finance Manager and Customer Support Manager.
Product: Insurance treasury and payments platform for holding premium and claim funds, managing virtual accounts and making instant or same-day payments.
