Tractive

Tractive develops GPS trackers and health-monitoring collars for dogs and cats, paired with a mobile app for live location, virtual fences, activity, sleep and vital-sign insights. Current models include the DOG 6, DOG 6 XL, DOG 6 XL Adventure and CAT 6 Mini, sold with optional subscription plans (Basic and Premium) priced separately from the tracker.

Customers are pet owners who buy the hardware and subscribe to a monthly, annual, two-year or five-year plan. The website also offers an optional Tractive Care add-on for replacement trackers after loss, damage or theft, and states that the price of the subscription is independent of the tracker.

The company was founded in 2012 and is headquartered in Pasching, Austria, where its products are designed and developed. The website states a team of more than 300 members from over 40 countries, and lists careers across departments with hybrid and four-day-week working arrangements. Tractive reports more than 1 million users worldwide.
