About Synagen
Synagen develops Synagen Co-Pilot, which takes existing patient documents such as referral letters, pathology and lab reports, and faxes and turns them into a structured patient overview with source references, plus prepared cancer registry (oBDS) and tumor board documentation. It also offers SynGuide, a guideline lookup tool based on the DGHO Onkopedia guidelines.
Customers are oncology practices, cancer centers and hospitals, which use the product under data processing agreements and keep sign-off on all outputs. The website does not describe pricing or revenue model. Synagen states it is not a medical device.
Synagen was founded in July 2024 by four physicians and is based in Berlin, with team members also in Dresden; the company says it is hiring in Berlin and Dresden, and an open role for VP Engineering in Berlin is listed. The website is published in English and German-language press references are present.
Product: Synagen Co-Pilot, an AI documentation tool for oncology patient files, and SynGuide, a guideline Q&A chatbot based on Onkopedia.
