SPREAD is an engineering intelligence platform that connects engineering data from PLM, CAD, ERP, ALM, MES, simulation and test systems into one product ontology. Its apps, Requirements Manager, Product Explorer and Error Inspector, query that ontology, and connectors map data in place without migration.

The website names OEMs and industrial suppliers as customers, including automotive OEMs, a defense OEM and an industrial machinery builder, with case studies on production risk, MBSE models and rework. The site does not describe its pricing model.

SPREAD was founded in Berlin in 2019. It raised a Series A led by HV Capital in 2023 and a Series B led by OTB Ventures in 2026. The careers page lists offices in Berlin and Munich and a team of 100+ employees across Europe. Current open roles are in engineering, solutions consulting, product, sales, marketing and information security.
