SANBORN

SANBORN produces precision-machined components using CNC turning, milling, grinding, deep drilling, thread rolling and hard turning, with parts up to 4 m long. Its products include parts for gas and steam turbines, aerospace parts, compressor and pump parts, hydraulic equipment, and oil and gas parts.

Its customers are global manufacturers of generators, turbines, oil and gas production equipment, aircraft, hydraulic systems and diesel engines, along with power companies and thermal power plants. The company states that it supplies customers worldwide and is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, EN 9100 and PED 2014/68/EU.

The company traces its establishment to 1920 and was privatised in 1992 under the name SANBORN. Its plants are in Velké Meziříčí, Brno and Znojmo, and it reports over 400 staff. In 2023 the Hungarian industrial holding Oriens became its owner, and in 2024 S&K Tools and Znojemské strojírny joined the group.
