salzburg-zoo.at

Zoo Salzburg is a zoo that presents animal species from around the world. The website offers opening hours, admission prices, an online ticket shop, a feeding calendar, a sponsorship scheme for individual animals ("Tierpate"), a newsletter and a donation form.

Its customers are day visitors, families and school groups, and the zoo also runs events and guided tours. The operating entity is Zoo Salzburg gemeinnützige GmbH, a non-profit limited company, and income appears to come from admissions, events and donations. The website says around 70 people work at the zoo in animal care, veterinary medicine, zoology and administration.

The founding year is not stated in the website text. The zoo is located in Salzburg, Austria, and its social media handles refer to Hellbrunn. The careers page lists two full-time, permanent openings: a zookeeper and a Eurasia enclosure team leader (Revierleiter & Tierpfleger). The zoo also trains apprentices in animal care and currently offers no internships.

Product: Zoo admission, guided tours, events and animal sponsorship for visitors to the zoo in Salzburg.
