Růžový slon sells erotic toys, lingerie, cosmetics and condoms through its e-shop at ruzovyslon.cz and through brick-and-mortar stores. The company says it tests the products it sells and publishes product videos and educational articles written with doctors, psychotherapists and sexologists.

Its customers are adult consumers who buy online or in person, and revenue comes from retail sales of these products, including own-brand items the company says it is developing. The website lists free delivery over 1,200 CZK and a 90-day free return policy. In 2025 and 2026 the company acquired two online shops, Kondomshop and Flagranti.

The company was founded as Růžový slon s.r.o. in Ostrava in 2010, after the brand launched in 2008 and a first store opened in Havířov in 2003 under founder Adam Durčák. The website says it employs 57 people, has expanded from Czechia into Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Slovenia, Croatia and Bulgaria, and is growing its store network. Open positions listed include an accountant in Havířov and a sales assistant in Prague.
